1. 大家应该有注意到,我用的字眼是 - 产假津贴【Maternity Allowance】
2. 主要的原因是,薪水【Wages】是需要做工赚回来的【Earned】
3. 但是,在拿60天产假时,是在家休养没有做工的。因此,这属于是一项津贴【Allowance】
4. 居然是津贴【Allowance】,那就会有条件了。
5. 昨天的文章,我说到,女雇员只有满足以下所有条件,才可以享有产薪:
~ 在分娩前的9个月内,为公司服务至少90天
~ 在最近的4个月内,至少工作1天
~ 没有五个或以上依然健在的孩子 [第37(1)(c)条]
6. 昨天,我只说三个条件。
7. 今天我要再补充一样东西,那就是 Notice。
8. 不要忘记,职业女性拿产假,跟平时拿 Annual Leave,病假没有分别的,都是需要作出申请的
9. 有着两种情况:
~ 打算生产前离职;
~ 没有辞职的计划
10. 如果有打算辞职,那么当你符合(5)的条件后,切记:
~ 如果你将会在辞职后的4个月内生产,在 resign 前,通知公司/HR
11. 如果没有辞职的打算,切记:
~ 在预产期的60天内,通知公司/HR
12. 大家看到(10),会觉得有点奇怪吧?明明 resign 了,还可以跟旧公司讨产假津贴【Maternity Allowance】?
13. 是的,只要符合全部条件,就可以向前雇主/公司讨产假津贴【Maternity Allowance】
14. 会不会有这样的情况出现:
~ 分别向两个雇主/公司讨 产假津贴【Maternity Allowance】?

The female employee who is entitled to 60 days maternity leave ..... may not be entitled to maternity allowance.
A female employee is entitled to receive maternity allowance only if she fulfilled all the requirements as follows:
1. must have served the company with at least 90 days during 9 months before confinement
2. work at least 1 day in the last 4 months
3. does not have five or more surviving children [Sec 37(1)(c)]
4. has to notify her employer of her pregnancy before leaving her employment if she knows or believe that she will be confined within 4 months before the date of leaving her employment (resign) [Sec 40(1)]
5. has to notify her employer of her expected date of confinement and the date from which she intends to commence her maternity leave within a period of 60 days immediately before her expected date of confinement (if she still in employment/ service) [sec. 40(2)]
