关于社会保险 SOCSO
1. 其实社会保险【SOCSO 或 PERKESO】，就如我们所签购的医药保险般，需定时缴交固定费用，若不幸发生意外或疾病缠身，可索偿保险舒缓财务负担。
2. 差别在于，社险属于强制性投保，在1969年雇员社会保险法令下，雇主/老板若拥有至少一名或以上的员工，无论全职、兼职、短期、试工，都有向社会保险机构登记的责任
3. 一旦注册后，雇主/老板需要为其员工缴付每月社会保险费 【SOCSO】

社险缴纳率，究竟是多少？
4. 社会保险费【SOCSO】是由公司支付，员工视其年龄，承担承担部分保费：
～ 60岁之前
雇主》1.75%，雇员：0.5%
保障》工伤及残疾退休养老金

雇主》1.25%，雇员：0.0%

工资总数的定义 【Definition Of Wages】
5. 所有的巴仙率，都是以工资总数作为标准。
6. 工资总数的定义，指的是对雇员的一切金钱支付【all remuneration payable in money】，这些支付包括:
～ 基薪 【Salary】
～ 超时工作津贴 【Overtime】
～ 佣金 【Commission】
～ 假期有关的，如：年假、病假、产假、休假、公共假期等等 【Payments for leave; such as annual, sick, maternity, rest day, public holidays and etc】
～津贴，如：奖赏、行为良好奖励、轮班津贴、膳食津贴、生活津贴等 【Allowances such as incentives, shift, food / meal, cost of living, housing and etc】

7. 过去，自雇人士都是吃自己的，没有获得 SOCSO的保障
8. 2017年自雇人士社险计划法令诞生 【Self-employment social security Act 2017】：
～ 于2017年6月1日推行
～ 并强制所有自雇的德士、电召车和巴士车司机必须加入该计划
~ 同时没有附带年龄限制。

2020年起，扩大范围，加入18领域 【contribution expanded
to 18 self-employed groups】
9. 再加上家庭服务【household service】，目前总共有 20 个组别是在这个法令的范围内：

（14）数据收集与处理服务 【Collecting and processing of Data】
（15）代理服务 【Agent】，比如：保险代理、地产经纪等
（16）专业服务 【Professional】，包括：会计师、医生、律师、建筑师、工程师、
（17）私人支援服务 【Private Support Services】，包括：导游、翻译服务、培训
（18）表演、电影、艺术及图象 【Performance, film activities and any activity which includes artistic work and graphic work】

自雇人士没有注册会怎样？ What is the consequences for self-employed failure to register ?
11. 根据法令，没有注册是违法的，一旦定罪，将：
～ 罚款不超过10,000令吉；或
～ 监禁不超过2年，或
～ 两者兼有
Failure to register is an offence under the Act and will be
liable to a fine not exceeding RM10,000 or imprisonment
for a term not exceeding 2 years, or both.
